Focusing on Philly

For decades and generations, there has been a perpetual ebb and flow of people moving into and out of cities. Anthony D'Alicandro believes Philadelphia’s reemergence is on the rise.

Just like the changing leaves and cooler temperatures alert us to the shifting seasons, new residents, local shops and activities remind us that Philadelphia has been ever-evolving since its inception 340 years ago. The city is filled with newcomers, returning residents and people whose families have been here for generations. Like most urban areas, Philly is a haven for those who crave the convenience, culture, employment and excitement that only a big city can offer. In the City of Brotherly love, we enjoy a wealth of world-class academic institutions, renowned dining, superb recreation, spectacular museums and a thriving arts scene. Easily accessible from the entire Eastern Seaboard but far more affordable than New York City, Boston and Washington D.C., Philly really does have it all. That's why Compass agent Anthony D'Alicandro has chosen to focus his efforts on those seeking expert buying and selling advice in this exciting metropolis.

As we turn the calendar into fall and with winter not far behind, Anthony is already looking forward to a new set of events and shows. Top on his list is the Banksy Was Here exhibit, which will showcase 80 original works by the famed street artist at Fashion District Philadelphia beginning Oct. 15, 2022. In 2023, we'll also welcome the return of the Philly Home Show, one of the country's premier home exhibitions. Exciting activities like these attract people to the city, expand our creative perspectives, provide wonderful ways to meet up with friends, and show how beautifully time marches on fantastic Philadelphia.
